that is good experience with Z's that can give me a hand fitting a new cambelt and tensioner? I have never done it before but would keen to learn and save a bit of cash. I would have a go myself but i'm using the car daily at the moment and can afford to get it wrong! Obviously i will pay petrol and beer money! :)

If your car is due its Cambelt change, then you really need the full 60k service done, as there are many other parts that will need replacing at the same time unfortunatly, which would cost you around 450-600 if you use one of the Traders on the forum (ztech is not far from you).

looking through my recipts Its had a 6ok service about a year ago with the exception of the tensioner, all the seals/waterpump etc have been done. So as cash is tight and most parts have been replace fairly recently i'm not keen to do a complete 60k service. I think i will give it ago myself, i was just wondereing if someone locally would be able give me some on site advice. Hey is it doesn't work then i'm getting the bus to work!
