im wondering if threre is air in the system or it has a fualt there is no noticable fluid loss and the clutch opperates ok but it bites very low to the carpet any ideas ??? :(

yep there is a servo on the system to help you press it in.

the peddle shoyld feel hard before you start the car> place your foot on the peddle

feel it hard, start the engine and you will feel the servo make it lighter.

this is normal.

sometimes the servo unit leaks pressure and pushes the master cylinder in and depresses the clutch so giving clutch slip. this happend to mine and the part is $450.00 from the US. but its a bitch to fit so i relaced both master cylinder and

clutch booster servo. Neat job done! also you can get air in the system and it needs

bleeding at the clutch bleed nipple on the d/side wing (under bonnet) and the slave

cylinder.

hope this helps and it ent the booster
