Check FAQ mate, This is a constant problem for all of us

You can get different bulbs for £10-£25, some of which are called Xenon, but I'm never convinced they're much better.

You can get true Xenon which is called a gas discharge system or HID. That's loads brighter but it's £200 or something and needs a box of electronics mounting somewhere.

Some people get great results from just cleaning the inside of the headlight glass.

will do thanks asked in a shop today for these bulbs and they did not know of any

I presume yours is an import?

do a search on headlight upgrades, there is one which involves

fitting an extra wire to enable you to use uk spec bulbs of a

higher wattage. I did this and the lights were noticably brighter,

but the car wouldn't tick over properly at all, seemed to zap all

the power  Put the normal jap spec bulbs back in, &

all is fine, just can't see shit! failing that, there was a group buy

in the traders forum a while back for hid lights. You have to be a

subscribed member to take part in group buys though ;)

Try http://www.elta.co.uk for j-spec bulbs, you'll have problems trying to

source them through halfords etc!

did that with some PIAA things...my lights are g*dd*mn AWFUL though! I might as well turn on my interior light and itll emit more light onto the road

yes it is an import 1996 TT,ill try the cleaning idea and see what happens

just convert your spots to uk bulbs, put 100 watt bulbs in and away you go, other motorists hate it, but at least you can see.

The angle a zeds headlights are on you'll never get much out of them.

Done that, not much difference!
