how much does it cost to get personalised plates?.. how o you do it?

ManicTT, I am selling DIL6171 for £200 and I think the DVLA charge around £80 for the transfer.

I know its not a great plate but it does remove the prefix year letter and hides the age of your Z. Looking on the web these plates start at around £450.

Alternatively you can look around for plates at http://www.reg.co.uk/

i dunno in europe, but in america it's only like $30 extra, $100 if you go beyond 6 letters i believe

T3RBO would be my ideal plate - just need to save up for a T reg car now!!!

Already got a private plate B30RT, cost me £500 a year or so ago... As well as being RT on a square plate it also reads T ROBB backwards! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Here in Arizona (usa) it's only 25 bucks, and that's up to 8 letters/numbers.
