I'm looking for a 'simple' upgrade for the standard head unit in my Z.

 

I don't like all the flashy lights and fiddly, small buttons on the Kenwood units.

 

I'm thinking about the San Diego, Blaupunkt system with remote.

 

Anyone got any comments/experience with these?

Dunno about the San Diego, but I've had an Atlanta in my Z since I got it.

 

Lovely unit, and all the toys you could ever want (except remote, MP3, TV-out, etc...) :-)

 

Blaupunct stuff is usually pretty robust and the CD mechanisms are V. high quality.

I am fairly well versed in all that is hi-fi so if you tell me what your rough budget is, I'll be able to give you a list of a few head units to try out (p.s Blaupunt have loads of features for the money, but generally sound crap!)
