Have a look at this boost & fuel/air ration and air temp meter display unit I found:

What do you reckon? Sound like a worthwhile piece of kit?

Thanks Legrath... would be useful if I checked my post aftwer writing it!!! No idea of an Apexi device similar, but I bet it's a lot more expensive! Anyone got any opinions at all???

looks like a nice bit of kit, im already trying to work out the best place to fit it!! :D

any feedback from anybody as to if this should do a good job (and would it really be a good replacement for separate boost/temp guages??)

ApexI do three different units:

a) the RSM (displays revs/speed/0-60 etc.)

b) the Super-AFC2 (modifies air intake reading [or something like that] and displays A/F ratio, voltage at MAF, throttle, etc.)

c) the AVC-R (boost controller which obviously would tell you boost)

These look much more sexy than the item above but I dont think any one of the ApexI's would display all three bits of info.

I have the first two fitted in my car:

One disadvantage to that unit is the need to fit a MAP sensor (which we don't have) - have any of you looked at the cost of MAP sensors yet? ;)

Duffer has one in his dailydriver, ask him how much they cost

I've lost count of how many boost sensors my car has now  :D

Stock boost guage

Aftermarket boost guage

VPC

Profec E01

there's others but I can't remember right now LOL

MAP sensor simply reads pressure above absolute zero, so at normal atmospheric pressure, at sea level, it will read 1 bar :)
