i was coming back from hospital the other day in the morning, and approached a roundabout, when i slowed down, my zed started to stuble (misfire etc.) Left exhaust is making a popping sound like sumting is stuck in side it..... so i have checked all the connections.......

 

i traced the problem to the last to injectors on the passenger side are not working, i have tried to change the coil pack, around and it makes no difference. tried a known working PTU but car will not start....

 

The car is constantly misfiring, cold and hot, what could be possiably wrong. When the car first started to do this i seen a fuel leak near the second coil pack from the passenger side i tightned the pipe no leak but still missfire. I have had this car for a year, its had a good service new plugs etc...

 

Know i ask help from u lot, has any one had this problem. can they send me in the right dirrection to what it could be like does it need new

or sumting stupid expensive s!!! like Injectors......

Will more than likely be the injector connector for that cylinder - especially since you mention a fuel leak in that area in the past ;) The fuel gets on the connections and corrodes them ;) Just take the connector off and clean the pins, should sort the problem :)

tried it already mate, cleaned injector and coil pack conncetions........ any other suggestions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wait a moment, are the injector conncetors near opposite each coil pack ??????????????????????????????....

 

when cleaning the injector connections i must of broke the metal clips on the connectors any suggestion on how keep them fixed,, or do i need new connectors...........

The injector connectors are closer to the centre of the engine than the coilpacks, just follow the intake runners and you should see them a bit lower down. The connectors cracking is a common problem, best to replace the connectors - you can get bits of looms to 'cut and shut' onto your existing loom to achieve this....
