Not used the Zed for a couple of weeks now, decided to take a run out and about round south Manchester/Cheshire. Drove through Wilmslow where Ferrari's, Bentleys, Porsches are plenty. Driving through the centre, and a family are walking past a Ferrari 360 parked up, but pointing over the Ferrari at the humble Zed as I drove past. Not bad for a car you can pick up from 3k upwards!

best one for me was i pulled up to a BMW Z3M Cabby thing and the blokes missus/sister looked at the Z and said to the driver why didnt you buy one of them...........i pissed meself laughing as i drove off (i know its a medical condition i have) :D

I got a good one for ya from the club last week. Bloke is looking to buy a new car for himself for his 40th. Has about 90k spare. So there he is in the clubhouse looking through what car etc and his daughterr comes in.

 

Daddy, why dont you buy one of them (pointing at mine) to which he replies, I would if I knew what it is. I PMSL. Then I told him what they go for and if he was willing to part with another 10-15k he would get himself a F40 eater.

 

He saod he didint want a bopy racer car. then his daughter said, no he wants to be an old man in a young mans car lol. But he does like the 350z but its not a rag top. no pleasing some people.

i must admit the zs do get alot of attention ,a few weeks back i pulled up outside of the BMW garage where they were running a fun day thingy with ballons and all that shit the normally do ,,and as i pulled up outside the garage i think nearly all of the 200 odd so people on the forecourt stopped looking at the m3 and turned to look at my 1991 300zx thats what i call a head turner...when i got out a guy and his wife came upto me and said iwant one of them

random mummy at nippers school asked what the car was and how much they cost, she was getting herself a 40th b'day pressie. to be honest, when I dropped my mate at the porka garage to pick up his gay boy boxster my car looked the nuts compared to some of the cars there, especially the bloody cayenne!!! although the porkas do all have fooking wicked looking brakes...

I was about to head home after work- the guy walking down the car park infront of me saw my Zed and stopped dead in his tracks and gawped at the front view, then took 5 steps back to admire the front/side angle. He then slowly continued on, still looking at it. :D I must admit- it *was* looking particularly sexy that day!

 

I had the biggest grin all the way home!

Had a lovely moment in at the SW meet this afternoon, two young lads came up open mouthed at the 5 Z's lined up and asked what cars are those. Took pride in telling them they were Z cars.

Sunny day, roof off, just polished, tyres black, some guy pulls up next to me with a gorgeous blonde, winds his window down and shouts across " woooooow f#ckin ell! that cars the Dogs B*llocks mate.

My car out classes and out performs a Ferrari as I have proved in both aspects before.
