Hey what is the big problem in the UK with the speed cameras and why are they freaking out so much with speed in the UK.

 

 

Its the only way the government can fund the police. Yet another cockup by the Labour government. They say that there has been a 30% drop in deaths with all the speed cameras, but there is no information confirming this, in fact studies that the rate has not changed.

The government also say they only install speed cameras in "Accident Blackspots" but you find hidden on long open roads, usually on down hill streatches where there is no need for a 30mph limit.

Stopping now before it pisses me off even more

I've just moved into my new house, and I'm on the edge of a 30mph limit...fuck me...cars come belting through there! Speed camera? Negat!

 

As Stu mentioned, you'll find them on downhill stretches with no houses around, hidden behind trees, signs etc.

 

Road accident related deaths were not 30percent down last year as the Govenment will have you believe, they were the same as the year before!!!

 

So all this traffic calming and cameras etc. is doing nothing for road safety and is a stealth revenue end of story! But we take it in the ass being British etc especially when we can't even keep a fuel protest going for long enough!

OK there was a reduction in accidents after wholesale speed camera placement in the UK.

Why?

Because in the previous year to widespead use of speed cameras there was an ABNORMAL increase in road deaths.

The annual road death rate then levelled out again. Its this simple:

next year - average road fatalities

next year - increase road fatalities

Merely saying road deaths decreased after mass implementation of speed cameras is a lie.

The use of statistics involving road deaths to promote wholesale mugging of motorists in this country is not only criminal, it is morbid, sick and very ominous.

All I can say some birts are a but MADD when it comes to DITCHING the cops all I can say IS RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE , becuase I have see the show that looks like cops and they show some of the high speed chases on TV in the UK and Its damm cool how some of the Scooters will ditch a COP.

I would love to do this but see the problem is all of the intersections in the usa have CC video camera so they can launch the police quickly if they see ya doing this

I am being prosecuted for speeding on the M25 doing 71mph at 10.35pm! Thru a temp 60 mph zone on a virtually empty motorway!!

 

We can now all sleep safe in our beds knowing that I the great road menace and danger to all road users and little kiddies without appropriate supervision that might step out onto the fast lane from behind a concealed motorway sign, yes I, the great danger to life, liberty and the pursuit of a prudent public borrowing requirement, have been brought to the halls of justice at last. but my question is " is it a serious Offnese if you are cought with out Licsese plates???

 

cause in the USA in some states dont issue a Licses plate unill 4~6 weeks later

 

do they do this and can they impound your car if cought sppeding in the uk with out LIcese plates

1) WANKERS or TARTS

 

2) FUCKING RACE CAR DIRVER REJECTS who can write off HMS Police cars that cost 35,000+ brit pound when they loose control
