I'm looking to get new alloys but fancy som'in a little different.

Found these and figured 6 turbo's got to be better than 2 :D :D

But can I find anywhere that can do them??? NO

Even tried a place in Brum that make them to your spec and they said "no mate can't do that design"

Any one know a good place with a good range of choices that don't cost an absolute packet?

My budget is up to about £1500

They look a bit like Ford Probe Series II rims :x:

they're made by Boss and theres a bloke on ebay doing them (cheap an all) I nearly went for these. You can 'only' get them in 17" which I think is a good thing :D

someone also made a good point about these.

You might want to ask if the fins all face the same way, cos if they do you'll have two wheels on one side facing the wrong way!

WHOA...I'm having a flashback! ;)

Thats the problem with being an ex Aret Student. All that LSD may have improved your creativity, but the flash backs are unreal

Pssst did you smell bling?

Yes, they're only available in 17" at the moment put plans are afoot to release them in 18, 19 and 20" fitments in the not too distant future. As soon as they do I'm grabbing me a set of 18's :D

Excellent! the alloys, not the flash back, although the falsh back could be good...er... where was I.

Oh ya, I'm looking for these in 17" but a lot of places I tried don't do them in our PCD  or the width I'm looking for (8.5 front and 9.5 or 10 back)

I figure the 18s are too large.

wheel base in oldham do a very simalar style sore them on two car's while up at there shown room a jag and an astra both looked great. http://www.wheelbasedirect.co.uk over two hundred alloys on show.

made by ACE

Had a look at this site but didn't see them. You sure this the place you saw this style?

they have Ace wheels in their wheel selector but nothing comes up.

Yep, as Goit says they're definately not on there but the alloys in question are the ACE CO36 Aviator. They come in standard silver or chrome flavours but I believe sizes start at 18" with the option to add a wider alloy for the rears. Prices start at around £1099 for a wheel/tyre package.

Goit, Friday

Fantastic!

cheers for the help

Your searching is far superior to mine.

I hadn't come up with anything.

I've e-mailed the companies and await replies. I'll let you know how I get on.

More questions if I may....

one of the companies have come back to me saying they've got the alloys in stock in tyre sizes: 255/35/18 rear 235/40/18 front

But they also say that "They need to have 20 offset on the front and 42 on the rear"

Is this okay for the zed?

The specs say +35...42 mm

Also they are offering Toyo Proxis tyres as a package... these any good?

Sorry, this is going more help and Advice than General discussion...

Cheers

  • 9 months later...

did anyone ever buy the CO36 AVIATOR's? and are they directional or do you have them on the wrong way on one side?

look great on one side of the car, but the other side looks odd, as the fans seem to be facing wrong way.

there was a guy here, dvdcodes something his name was, he had these

Those alloys pictured above are Veilsides I looked into buying the they cost approx £1.5K each

LOL Team Dynamics/Rimstock are about a mile away from where i work. :D

Constantly see modded cars whizzing about.

Someone has a Civic typeR that looks EXACTLY like the orange BTCC they ran Mat Neil.

Hmm nice !!
