Having spent a bit on making the car go round corners a bit better than it did I thought it only proper to make it stop better too :D

 

Been trying for AGES to get a decent brake kit - missed a few choice sets but finally................. :hyper:

 

Just got to fit it now.......now where did I put that spanner........

They are off an R33 GTR V-Spec Skyline. Same as the R34 GTR's except the colour - black on the 33 and gold on the 34.

 

Should make a BIG difference in braking.

 

Did you fit yours or were they already on the car ?

Mine arent off a skyline mine are a ferrari F40 kit :)

 

very similar though to the skylines but mine were already fitted

In case you didn't know - the torque setting for the mounting bolts is 50ft lbs plus locktite. Info courtesy Abbey Motorsports.

Just thinking - how on earth would you get a torque wrench on the back of the calipers ? (Actually I don't have the car here or a torque wrench for that matter so i may be asking a completely stupid question :nelson: )

Glad you got some in the end. I put front and rears on mine (R33 Vspec), but I haven't even driven the car yet so don't know how they feel. should be blasting along soon. :hyper:

out of interest what spec are the rears?

(having just bought some R34's for the front:D)
