heavy power steering

Odd one this morning, started up the car and the power steering was really heavy, it was definitly working but not very well. When I stopped and started the car again it was working fine! oil level is fine wasnt sure what else to check, its the second time this has happened. is something about to break?

its a 90 auto if that makes and difference.

Cheers
