Got it last night ,Back up copy, its the tits, and now you can hold two guns at the same time so no need to hide when reloading lol,

Only bought my brilliant Xbox a month or so ago and still playing Halo Combat Evolved, I hate to say this after owning mostly PS's but the Xbox kicks ass big time! I love it! Oh and mine is the crystal limited edition which makes it better than your boring black ones. LMAO :D

you can add bigger hard drives,play copied or imported games, play DVD's with out the remote and it has Divx and more, chips only £35

Its made my microsoft doubt it runs linux as standard! although some bright spark has probably made linux work on it. Its basically a PC isnt it?

Not quite a linux box, they run a microsoft OS (Yes even the xbox gets the blue screen of death, seen it at a computer games show) however with a chip you can run linux on them as after all its basicly a PC.

I think on that website they do warn you that if you install linux it will disable Xbox Live. Microsoft have secured the console so that if you tamper with it in any way Xbox live will not work. :(

the chip has a switch u use when you go on xbox live, i'm getting some software that uses xbox live for free, i'll let you know after the weekend if it works

Yep, not only that but if Micro$haft detect a chip they block the xbox compleatly even if you switch the chip back off :mac1: only way to restore it it to reprogram the chip.

 

(Can you tell i'm reading the book on reverse enginereing of the xbox :D)

I like the way you think :D have you tried the tunneling software? the ones that dont even use xbox live, its good if you want a local game between mates with out people you dont know joining lol

its for people who have chipped their xbox called XBConnect its exactly the same as Live but for people not willing to pay xbox live fees :)
