Intercooler vents in bumper

Hi, is it worth putting some vents in the front bumper to let the air out after its been the the IC's? There is not much room for the air to exit. I know some bumpers have vent but are they worth it?

Yes Mark, like you said on a standard set up the hot air that exits the intercooler will struggle to get out.

Probably better putting holes and mesh in both arch liners-as this would let the air out the back?-seems logical, but probably ain't!

No it aint and this is why......................................

PeterR looked into this and what he found was, with the front wheels spinning the air exiting the wheel arch was forced back with the turbulence.

my car is the in fastest colour, black. And although I am only running stock coolers it seems a cheap way of upping the efficency of them. The standard setup seems daft.
