I've just got a turbo timer harness and it says it for the z but do i just plug it in from straight out the back of the ignition barrel. Just wondering because the harness doesn't seem to fit there and i was wondering if you fitted it else where before i send it back. Cheers

greddy harnesses are made for Jap spec motors, if you have a UK spec car they have a different connector on the back of the ignition barrel :(

Cheers mike, It's a Jap import so i should be able to just disconnect the ignition barrel connector and plug the harness on but i can't  Ive had this Z for a 14 mths and have noticed there is evidence of spraying around the door handle. I wonder if a nice person of the community has borrowed it without consent and the barrel has been changed. I got the harness off a good reliable trader on here so thats why i doubt it his mistake. Anyway it says that its for my car on the box.

i bought the one for my car off a tradder

when jd fitted it it was nothing like right

he did a bit of cutting and soldering

and bingo it worked rather him than me

I'm having the same trouble as you - mine is a J-spec and the new harness is completely different (in terms of connectors) to the old one I took off.

I'm here :)

You both have the correct harness i'm puzzled as to what is going on, you have the same harness's that have been fitted to at least 30 zeds

I think its a problem with nissan being inconsistant in their barrels

but having the harness makes it a LOT easier to fit the turbo timer anyway by splicing.

Follow this guide and also the wiring diagram on back of the greddy package.

Would it be possible to swap mine too?

Sure matey :) but first can you give me the number that is on the front sticker IE TT14-22

You see guys, this is one of the reasons why it is a good idea to buy from the traders on the board,If you have a problem with a part they have sent you, they are only too pleased to sort it out.

Unlike some ****ers on ebay and over the pond eh Kirbz:D:D;)

Sure - I'll get it to you when I get back from work this evening. Thanks mate :)

Decided to call at home over lunchtime - the sequence on the box is TT14-22M. Hope that helps.

Just realised the RAZO Turbo Timer i bought some time ago had an additional set of wires with those connection on the end. DOH the fitting kit. And I just bought a blitz turbo timer. Hmmm teach me to be thick.
