"we do not ask the question is it modified"

"i supose we have been quite nieve thinking we would not get asked"

"it seems some of our sales staff are miss informed"

"continuious policies taken out prior to 18 months ago with modifications listed may or may not be valid"

"we have no rating system for valueing modified cars"

this applies to any make and model of modified car and is not dependant on BHP gains or CC increace

they just do not cover anything modified

that is IT end of story

What a bunch of complete and utter TWATS.

Glad I'm not with those chimps. Anyone who is, find someone else quick!

Having now read through the entire thread (dunno why... i'm not with them lol) it seems their systems are fooked up and they know it, but phone staff keep giving conflicting info

Sure sounds like their processes are completly FUBAR. Glad I'm not with them though. Doesn't fill you with very much confidence does it.

I was with them last year and got told that not only did Mods not count but also that I could have any amount of points on my licence as long as it hadnt lead to a ban. At the time I asked the girl to check with her supervisor and he confirmed. The basis of it was: if they could prove that your mods had DIRECTLY contributed to an accident, then you wouldnt be covered.

I have come across this before on bike insurance re: dark visors. When the ploice were saying that if you wore a dark visor you were uninsured the companies came out and sid that was only the case if they could prove that the dark visor contributed to the accident

previously i posted that a number of ins co's including the above would quote for an import on the phone but when the schedule came through the post it said no in the import box...phone them up and they say opps sorry we cant cover you....its a racket and no mistake...but they are all at it so be on guard and check those details v.v.v carefully no matter who your with

Just phoned to check and they have cancelled my insurance  am gonna get the managers name of that Mr Mac and give him some serious SH!TE :xxx:
