iacc valve wiring loom short !!

been having a slight missfire on the zed on the drivers side, cant for the life of me find the fault tried everything, so i unplugged all the injectors and coilpacks and pulled back the wiring loom, just as i opened the connector to the iacc valve i noticed that the red wire going into the connector had worn through and was making contact with the earth of the plennum :shock:

 

would this cause my missfire at very low revs ???
