Sorry to hear that Scoops. Hope everything turns out OK. Cats are tough little beggars.

Theres nothing worse in the world when your pussy gets injured and is out of action ;)

Hope its not too bad matey

Cats are too tough for their own good sometimes, as a last resort they will usually turn and face and oncoming car at the last moment when they'd be better off turning away.

Yeah I hope she's ok Scoopy boy, you don't need this right now!

Any news?

Seems more people are interested in your cat than Chunks Op ;)

vet said to phone back at 4pm, so i did, they said the couldnt x ray her as she was wriggling to much, they would wait for her to calm down then knock her out to do it, phone back at 7.

Went down there at 7.30, they had still not x rayed her but they would deffo do it tonight, will have results in morning.

They said she was doing ok and was pretty comfortable, hopefully this means its not as bad as first thought. The main concearn was internal organ damage but i would have thought 12 hours down the line if this was the case she would have croaked by now and the vats cant be that worried about her condition otherwise they would have done something by now.

So heres to hoping shes still alive when i phone the vets in the morning, im so gutted its untrue, strange how you get so attached the the little fuzzy buggers.

One off mine had the same problem about 6 years back, but she's still here now. More neurotic than before but still in 1 piece and showing few signs of slowing down. So with a bit of luck she'll be OK.

Likewise - my cat got run over many years ago, and after a bit of convalescing was just fine.. She could run around juat as before - all you had to remember was not to stroke that hip, or she generally turned around and bit you... It only started affecting her when she got very old (13-14 or so) and then she had a little bit of a limp. Passed away quietly in her sleep at 18  probably five years ago now..

So I'm sure your little furball will be fine scoops - shall keep my fingers crossed anyway, just in case :)

Fook mate - thats $hit!!!!

She'll be fine - look what happenned to my pussy.................

and she survived with a bionic gob

update: just spoken to the vets, looks like a fractured pelvis, but not too bad, bit of bleeding in the chest but again, not too bad. Bladder and other organs still intact.

Vet wants to keep her in over weekend to make sure shes gonna be ok, apparently some become incontinen after being hit. then again if i was gonna be run over, think i'd shit myself too!!

So fingers crossed she should be ok!! Vvvvvvvvvvv lucky cat according to the vet.

Glad the puddy cat is on the mend.

Excellent news mate - hate to see or hear of animals in distress or pain - my poor old dog is gonna suffer tonight with the old fireworks. We have to have TV's and music on in every room to try and drown out the noise for him.

Keep us all posted on the felines recovery

Regards
