The Mrs had a tiny prang while parking my car.

It didn't even mark it but when she drove home afterwards, it stalled.

Does anyone know if there's one of those switches that cuts the fuel in an accident?

I wonder if it might have cut the fuel pump and as she was driving so slowly, enough trickled through to get her home so it just stalled once.

If so, do you know how to reset it?

...... it's probably fine (touch wood!) but I have to go to Wales soon and I don't want it cutting out all the way there.

Cheers!

I dont know of any.

Does the pump prime itself when you turn the ignition on?

Fuel cut-out (inertia) switches usually take quite a bit to trigger them.

Just bought a Honda Jazz smashed in the front, needs everything renewing/repairing on the front. That had tripped the fuel cut switch.

I seriously doubt (if the Z even has one) the switch has been tripped by that very small bump.

Look elsewhere to fix your problem.

I think the problem was in her head.

Very true!

But a serious point.... we went on holiday a couple of months ago and took Lariam (Mefloquine) anti-malarial tablets and they messed her head right up.

Six weeks later she's just about ok but she's been pretty much clincally depressed / anxious and that's a known side effect.

I would say NEVER take Lariam. It's banned in lots of coutries.

Seem to recall my Dad backing that up when he was a medic in the RAF - IIRC it can't be used on aircrew due to the side effects (but perfectly legal in the UK for joe public, good eh? ;))

Buggered if I can remember what's given instead though..
