Theres a pic and brief spec on a new model Supra in Car magazine.

 

unfortunately it looks like a 350Z competitor, not a real 'knob out' nutter like the MK 4 Supra and the 300ZX. :( It looks a bit like the new Celica.

 

 

330bhp and 1200kg sound good though! :dance:

 

 

There's a pic of the new Skyline but I guess you've all seen that... maybe you've all seen the Supra too.

 

 

 

I'm kinda disapointed these new cars are coupe / Audi TT competitors not true sucessors to the 300zx and MK 4 Soop.

From the side it looks like a kitted Vanquish or perhaps the b*stard child of a Vanquish and a MBW Z4.........maybe :)

it does look like a squashed version of a vanquish nice lines though

Nissan was to use the 350Z for the supercar championship in Japan, but put a nice new kit on it to make it more aerodynamic. But the governing body said that it was not close enough to the original production car so it cant be entered.

So Nissan are now making it and also making a twin turbo version, limited edition though.

Sure I've seen these pics before (A long long time ago) and proabably in a galaxy far far away. But now I am back on earth for a few weeks ....

 

Looking at the poopra, it's a cross between an RX8 and Mitsi Spyder with wonky rear lights "as featured in Fast and Furious" :xxx:

 

The Skyline :mad: Seen a few wonky Skyline pics, some good some very bad. A 4wd 300bhp shoebox is not my cuppa tea!!

 

I'll stick with the 350Z as my "Brand New" Nissan Choice (if I am allowed to buy one again) :dance:

Yeah I thought that aswell, like they took the 350Z design and photoshopped it a bit and then said OK that'll do, slap that into production as we can't be arsed to completely redesign something as legendary as the Skyline! FFS!

 

I personally think that whenever someone says the word Skyline most will think of the R34 GT-R V Spec. tarmac muncher and be done with it. Anything else is never gonna come close in the modern day with all the legislation for emissions etc. Shame!
