Can anyone recomend a good and reliable mechanic with reasonable prices between Bedford and Milton Keynes? I'm looking for a 60k service and change of front brake pads.

 

Worldwide Motors in Newport Pagnell was recommended in another thread, I will pay them a visit. Is there anyone else?

I use worldwide motors (probably me that reccommend them in previous thread.. :) ) have done me ok & better prices than any Nissan dealership!

Yea, small world, I'm going to cranfield university at the moment. I stayed in cranfield village for a short while in september.

 

I went to Worldwide mototors in newport pagnell, they seemed good to me so I've booked them for some work next week. I've tried 3 different mechanics in Bedford, and have had sloppy problems with all of them (e.g. pulled out the electrical cable to my door-mounted boost gauge when they opened the door panel to fit an alarm)

If you prepared to travel Ztech can do your service properly and probably cheaper than you will get anywhere else to boot

I don't doubt your service level, quality of work or cost... but you're 103 miles away, for a return trip that'll be around 4 hours driving and £40 in petrol. I'll keep it in mind when I decide to change the front brake discs, front brake pads and get the prop support bearing done at the same time. too much expenses and not enough income at the moment!
