Right guys and gals

 

I am looking to arrange this in April / May next year so i would like votes to say which month is prefered.

 

I am looking to arrange this at Oulton Park, Cheshire

 

The reason i am looking at this venue is because if we take into consideration where everyone is based this is pretty central and it is a great track, anyone who has been there for the touring cars etc will know this.

 

 

Price is yet to be confirmed but as soon as i get this from them i will post it.

 

What i do need is numbers of GENUINE people who want to attend and what i will be doing is taking small deposits then i will book it.

 

So this is what loads of you wanted so get your name down and put your money where your mouth is!!! ;)

Airfield days are far better suited to the likes of us, who want to find the limits/capabilities of the cars without risking smacking your bitch up ;)

Why wont you go on the track?? Ive never been on a track before and will be crapping my pants but being as its only going to be zeds then i know people wont be doing stupid things on there!!

The problem is your speedo chip to convert from,KMs to MPH. The cause is a cheap chip has been fitted.

A good one costs about £100 compared to cheap ones which can be bought for £25.

may have to be long circuit as my M3 was pretty non stop sideways on the short circuit...imagine it would be worse on a heavy Z. :cry:

If this is at oulton then i'll be up for this. Would like to do it before i tidy the zed up to sell it, that way any bumps or scrapes won't matter. Oulton has limited times you can race due to the area. I think it's something like 11 - 5 on a weekend. All you need is a helmet for standard track days, no roll cage or anything technical required. Also if we race the international circuit then coming out of shell oils hairpin then we could get a decent speed/gear into hizzy's.

As ive taken the NEO role from Kirbz, I will look into this.

 

Only thing is there's been plenty of interest in a track day many times, but when its come to be paid for lots of people have dropped out.

 

To make it viable, we'd need around a minimum of 30 cars.

 

Im starting to have a chat with a few airfield curcuits and then invite a few other clubs (Zclub, sxoc, etc) to join in, that way there will be Car related track sessions and it will (well should) be alot cheaper.

 

Remember a track like Oulton will only accept a certain number of cars, an airfield curcuit has a higher limit (and MUCH better run offs)

What about here,saw it on tv other night"Trackday Warriors",this is supposed to be an excellent circuit,big run off areas,nice size,looked very good indeed,and fairly central to uk.

this where i was arranging it so i am passing on the details to chunk to arrange it now but yeh is a very good track and its not a bad price which was the main problem with alot of the other tracks and the other main problem is what part of the country its in!! i was looking at oulton park but all the southerners said it was too far etc etc so at least bedford is sort of central ish well lets say easy to get to lol
