Just a warning really to anyone who uses this seller who goes by the username V32det on ebay.

Basically I won an item for my zed on the 10th of October. The seller says he is based in the Northwest. For this particular item postage & packing was going to be £20.00. So I thought seeing as I'm in Lancs I would email to see if it was convenient to pick the item up, thinking it would save him time and hassle. :)

I have sent a few more emails and he's never replied back to me yet and I'm not holding my breath that he ever will

The item in question was a plenum which I think there were 3 other bids for.

Now, although I won it for a low price, and I think this is the reason he hasn't bothered replying, I think it's a pretty shitty deal FACT! :(

I mean that's the whole point with ebay isn't it, you put a reserve on an item then you at least get a minimun price want you want for it.

At least he could of come back to me and said look it went for less than I wanted really do you mind paying £x amount for it which I would of considered doing, but no not a fecking thing...!

I've posted this up to see whether anybody else has had similar dealings with this particular seller...

anyone?

cheers Jon.

And to relieve any tension caused by this, I'll polish it for you at a muchly reduced price ;) WTF am I saying LOL Serious offer though, but only because I know both of you and that this is just a very unusual slip up ;)

I think daves a pretty sound chap, having spent a fair bit of time chatting to him at billing, however, I am a little concerned on this missing plenum thing mate cause you just mailed me saying you've got six? and I was going to buy a few from you so whats the deal? and forgive me for being silly mate but how the **** can you loose several plenums?

Steve they were not lost, they were thrown out by mistake.

When breaking 7 Z's over a period of 8 weeks, you acumilate alot of scrap. Sadly these were in the same pile which the scrap man kindly removed

ide like to put my boot in here as well, being selfemployed for over 25 years and knowing that customers are important, there is allways 2 sides to every conflict but from where ime sitting the venom aimed at dave chung here is a little over the top dudes. iff i do a job in my line of work for anyone and for whatever reason the customer is not happy i want them to see me first and not to tell the world ive fuuked up,that is not the done thing. ive dealt a lot with dave and he,s kept hold of stuff for me that i knew he could of sold 10 times over till ive sold my kids to pay for the item.ive talked to dave on the phone about z bits at 11pm and hes been in the workshop takin bits off a car worth a pound,why----------because he likes ripping people off--------WRONG,because he does nt like letting people down.

iff a deal goes a little pear shaped tell him, dont shout it in the school play ground and try convince his sastified customers that hes a conman

BRIAN 93TT (CUSTOMER)

ps-----thats £50 you owe me dave-----lol

From my dealings with Dave Chung, I would have to say I agree with you whole-heartedly Znut!!!!! Dave has always gone out of his way to oblige and accommodate. Give the guy a break is what I say.

Although fairly new to this forum, I don'think it was every designed for charactor assassination. I think perhaps its time for the moderators to close the thread, you can't please all of the people all of the time, no matter who you are.

Thanks guys, reading your comments makes it all worth while. Its going to cost me a fortune in bribes :duffer: though :x:

Who needs to advertise, this is priceless.

Right back to the workshop

If the thread had descended into character assassination, it would have been locked. The thread was originally posted, as others have, to warn of a potential problem with an ebay transaction. Everybody in the club has the right to post a warning as long as they do not slander anyone. In the same vein DaveC had the right to answer, and your self and others have the right to rally to his defence.

The thread was, and is being monitored, and the appropriate action would have been taken if neccesary.

Regards

Hugh

Hi Jon

Please refer to my thread "boost controller advice".

You have been lucky mate, I bought a boost controller of this guy and it no use at all, he wont refund the money and as with you he put me on his ignore list on email. :nono:

I think its time to name and shame this guy because a lot of people have asked who he is and I know who he is, whats worse he is a trader on this forum.

Everyone please note the guy ripping people off is-

David Chung of Petrol Heads North west :xxx:

Do not buy from this guy if you check his ebay history you will see my complaint.

As yet he has maintained his service to people on this forum but its only a matter of time before he rips someone off on here as well.

I was holding back on his name to give him a chance to make good his bad dealing but he will not budge so I have nothing to loose.

I have had NO problems whatsoever with any aspect of the purchase and Dave has laways been very hepfull. Dave.. who the fck r u anyway.

Lets not let this get into something nasty, people have the right to warn others if they have had a bad experience or good one as well!!!
