I managed to keep the dust caps on my tyres for 8 WEEKS!!! got nicked last night! the little beggars.....

cruel or not but i caught the little scrote in the process of taking mine while at my mums the other day....i waited while he got the first then walked out and stood there while he started on the second. his friend who was supposed to be standing guard shit himself when he realised and shouted but it was too late. the lad was about seven as i started to *****ck him i for a second felt a little guilty but then i thought why should i....he lived 4 doors down from my ma and he was a good friend of my sisters little lad....i asked him where his dad was and at this point he burst into tears i then told him to put them back on and if they went ever again i would be round to have words with his dad and the police.....at this point i went back into the house and forgot about the whole incident until his grandmother who was babysitting him came round to apologise with him still being in tears thinking his dad was gonna beat him....and then at this point my dad called me a tight git for having him in tears...........go figure eh

I caught a few kids nicking them the other week. Let them get round the corner then went after them. After loads of finger pointing one of them dug them out of his coat pocket and blamed his mate. Didn't tell them exactly WHAT I'd do to them if I caught them at it again. Well you've gotta leave some things to the imagination haven't you ;)

wot is it with the little t*%ts. i got my car ready for pod on sat, went to local shop. came back home and they were gone. bet in was'nt in there for 3mins.

I use to put them on my other cars but got fed up with it. The kids bikes ended up looking better than my golf gti, then again thats not hard. (b4 anyone else said it !!)

:hyper: I got some nice plastic ones now for 50p they are still on the car :confused: Got fed up with the good ones getting nicked :mad:

im resorting to crappy black ones now, seems like a waste of time and money, dustcaps are working out more expensive than a tv license at a new set every 6-8 weeks!!!

Before I sold the Z, I was having mine stolen at least once every month. It made it even worse cause when I went to see my sister, my nephew pipes up that he had a tin full of them and I could have as many as I want!!!!!! :(

 

I did take him up on the offer and had 3 lovely sets (just in case). :rolleyes:

 

It's a shame you can't buy caps that give the buggers an electric shock.... :slap:

I recently had just one of mine nicked? WTF? :mad: Now got to buy a complete new set anyway :rolleyes:

I had this problem on previous Z's,,but the Anteras on this one have flush fit caps,that fooked the little buggers :D

I have flush fitting valves on my Zed, look good and dont get nicked!

A few of the other MR2 drivers have them - the barrel of the cap just goes round and round and does nothing unless you have the key that fits into the end of them.

Nobody has had them pinched off an MR2 yet - but the Roadster doesn't seem to attract as much attention as the 300ZX... can't think why ;)
