Its been converted to UK mph, but its top speed on the dials is about 110/120 mph and then its off the scale, the mileometer is in miles but the trip is in km i think cos its reading over 400 on one tank!

 

anyone know why they'd make dials for this for such a limit..in UK version??

 

is changing it to the 180dials difficult or should i just change the whole bit of kit?

The dial has not been converted to MPH. All that has happend (By the sound of it) some one has just put a MPH face on. The speedo is still working in KPH and the trip is working in KPH too.

 

What you need to do is get a the Jap dial face back on and then get a speed convertor.

you should get the faces changed professionally as it is near impossible to get the needle back in the right place.

would it not be more worthwhile getting the whole dial changed? or is that normally expensive and complicated?
