Please can anyone contribute to this issue so I can get a general opinion on what to do.
A while ago I bought a second hand boost controller off ebay it was advertised without solenoid but it was stated I could expect to pay about 80 pounds or thereabouts for one including the loom.
So I snapped it up at £120 (blitz dual SBC).
I then found Blitz wouldnt supply spares without a receipt, however after weeks of digging I eventually decided to ask on the forum and I was immediately and very gratefully supplied one by Kirbz (I should have done it sooner), so I went back to Blitz, now they tell me they will supply the parts but the solenoid on its own is £160 + vat and pipes ect are additional.
My question is-
If I add 160 to 120 and say 50 for loom + T fittings etc that gives me £320, plus vat on 170 = total £360 why dont I just get my money back and buy a new one from one of the traders in the traders section, because the discription was inaccurate wasnt it?, well this is one thought but this guy has put me on his email ignore list on ebay and will not respond, however I have recently realised he is advertising on this forum, so although I cannot mention his name I can contact him again, but before I do, I wanted to know if everyone contributing to this question thinks it is worth getting the parts and using the controller. or should I persue a refund and buy new?
