Nah, not too difficult. Ought to be able to remove it in 10 mins. Will need to remove some of the odds'n'ends in the way though.

thanks i feel better now i know it aint gonna be a marathon. :)

Not too bad a job,

1) Empty the old cylinder of fluid by opening the slave cylinder bleed nipple

2) Slacken off the fluid line at the side

3) Undo 2 x 12mm retainer nuts

4) Wiggle the unit off the retaing studs

5) Undo the fluid line completley and lift unit out in one.

6) Reverse the operation, tighten the fluid line last so it is not stressed after tightening.

7) Bleed points are: one on the master cylinder ( on some ) one on the front section of the drivers side inner wing and one on the slave cylinder.

Tip(1) Its a good idea to get the slave cylinder pushed back into the cylinder and retain it tempory with a tie wrap, this will prevent air been trapped at the back of the piston, remove when all bleeding is complete.

Tip(2) If you have trouble fitting the new cylinder in place, the resevoir is removable, after loosening the retainer screw pull off the plastic resevoir and then fit unit including connecting the fluid line ( more room ) and then refit the resevoir last ( easy)

Average time to do is between 45 mins and 1.5 hour if not done one before

Hope that helps
