Tps

Hope Andy can answer this one.

I've taken out and cleaned the AAC, IAC air regulator, checked resistance and all is as it should be.

I've also checked both plugs on the TPS and they are not corroded or dusty at all.

The base idle is just under 900 which seems fine but sometimes it drops to around 700 which feels too low and it still rises to 1200 for no reason????

Could this still be the TPS??????

Is it worth replacing?

Check the yellow connector to the AAC valve - this could be causing the revs to drop. Do you have dump valves?

No dump valves and the yellow connector is fine?

I tested the resistance for all the valves out of the car, should they have a current applied while i test them?

Does the yellow connector have its metal clip on? It can vibrate off sometimes if not...

No need to put the sensors on load for the test, just resistance check will be fine...

Yep pretty sure it does i'll double check later though.

Could the TPS cause the idle to drop or just to rise?
