Well I didnt want repair my wings (I know they are not the same as inner wings) and rather pay for new ones. Then I found out they where over £200 each.

I cant see anything wrong with 2nd hand inner wings

The inner wing is a whole different ball game for a start your suspension turret is all part of this, would you really trust a second hand one , any body shop worth there salt will insist on a new one, replacing this is not an easy task so wants to be done right

Does he mean the whole thing? I thought he meant the plastic inner arch, and not the metal inner arch.

got it in one the complete inner needs to be replaced

To help try and clarify what the problem is, the links below show the inner wing from above and viewed from the drivers side over the top of the wheel, sadly the picture of the chassis to inner wing seam was too dark, the spot welding has broken away over a an 18" length, you can look into the engine bay through this gap from the wheel arch!!
