Hi Guys,

 

Just got a new CD plaver for my Z , but not sure how to get the

central thingy bit out to get to the old radio.

( have removed the 4 large screws ) but will not still come out ??

Do I need to take something else out also.

If IRC there ar four screws to take off as you stated. Two at the top which are hidden by two small plastic covers. The other two are hidden behind the long plastic strip that pulls off. That should be it mate. It should just pull out now but be careful as it does bend quite a bit. I found it easier to pull from the top as it is still held in by metal clips.

 

Ohhh and watch out for the clock connection at the bottom. You don't want to damage that.

If you're talking about the centre console trim, a wee bit of a firm hand should do the trick, theres a couple of metal clips there too, just watch they dont go flying down the back :D
