Getting there.

 

Had to spray it all outside, so the paint is not perfect and a lot of kamakazi bugs and flies which got stuck on the wait paint have to be rubbed out.

 

Not too long now. :D

Very lucky actually, I live in a very good close. The neighbours have been very understanding and like I said have taken an interest in whats going on. One neighbour helped with taking the engine out, and 2 neighbours have allowed us to put parts in their garage for nearly a year.

 

I remember when I got the car, I walked home from the local shops to see my dad in my car with a neighbour ragging it down the street. LOL

I cant believe what I've just seen, you painted your car outside in good old blighty, and managed to avoid the effects of moisture, wind blown grit, rain and the council, well your braver than anyone I know,- no one can knock your extraction anyway, by the way Halfords run out of purple yet or what?

Well last week just he top end was purple while the rest was still a vibrent red. I think I should ease off now ;)

 

Dave.. Halfords havent run out of paint but I have. You wont believe how much we have used, cosidering we has weeks of paint reacting badly.

 

One side of the car has got a few bits in it :( as the wind was coming from one direction when we sprayed it. nothing too drastic, it will rub out easily. :D

 

We planned on doing it last week but a huge beach tree decided to let about 1,000,000 seeds go on the same day :(

Does this qualify for the madest outdoor job on a Z this year or what??????
