does anyone recommend anywhere for powdercoating and have any idea of costs?

    It depends what you are having done. In glasgow I just had the rear subframe shotblasted and powdercoated £40. pleased with the result.

    Hi there this is what I was quoted by a local firm:

     

    The wheels would be £50.00 each, to include any repairs, shotblasting, powder coating and powder lacquer. We would need the wheels tyres off and would need them for three days as after blasting we bake them out in the oven for two days to get rid of the gases.

     

    That's a company in Masham North Yorks. Hope this gives you an idea....
