A little clutch feel mystery...

OK. The same clutch assembly, including RPS action and Fidanza fly, has now been in 3 Zeds.

 

In the first one it was heavy as lead and almost uncreepable. Understandable because it turns out the vac boosters were missing as it the car was actually a manual conversion.

 

In the second one - a manual - it felt like stock. It was definitely running full pressure because it coped with Stage II turbos adequately.

 

In the third one, another manual conversion, it's v heavy again, but the booster circuit was included in the conversion.

 

Why? Could be there be something missing in the third one?

I remember donating something check-valveish... but just to check (hurr hurr), where is that, duffer?

pump the pedal a few times with the engine off. then start up & try it again to see if theres any servo action going on
