Yesterday afternoon some cnut keyed one of my Zeds all the way along the passenger side. Whoever did it meant business because its right down to bare metal and beyond. Looks like a screw driver was used. I suspect I know who did it, but the police are a waste of sperm when it comes to looking into such matters as shown by past expereince when the same car was paint strippered a few years ago.
I need to decide whether to get it repaired or just her as she is as an emergency spare car for when my other one plays up. Due to my insurance history (plonkers hitting me) I daren't make a claim for fear of what it will do to my premiums, so he question is really how much she is worth since I'm not willing to spend more than that on a respray.
So, how much is a bulk standard 1990 UK car with the best part of 190k miles on the clock worth. She still goes like a rocket but is a little thirsty for the oily stuff.
