300zx.co.uk doesnt really have a ring to it does it, its ok for the address but not very catchy as a name. Am I alone in thinking we should have a name for the club or have we already and am I missing the point :confused:

sorry guys I am obviously not being clear here i get that we are called 300zx.co.uk but I was just wondering if anyone thought the way i did...

It may be the official title, but I agree with speedfreak, as club names go it's a bit lacking in impact. Case in point: bloke came up to me when I was in my local Shell station and started asking me about my car as he owned a Zed himself. He wasn't a member of any clubs but seemed keen to join so of course I recommended this one!:D However, felt a right prat trotting out it's "the 300zx.co.uk club" and it obviously didn't have much impact on him as he had to ask me to repeat it (and yes I was enunciating in my best Queens English the first time! ;))! It isn't the end of the world if it stays the same but IMO: Official: Yes...Catchy: Er, no! ;)

its not really possible to change, as thats the registered club name with the banks, plus its on the banners which cost a lot of money, and we have been known as that for over 2 years now.

Z CLUB or Z CARS would be cool....

I'd have to agree that it's not the most inspiring name ever, but as Mike pointed it's hardly worth changing.

well why cant we come up with an unofficial club name?? one that doesnt require changing?? i.e. as per fridays case above it would have sounded better surely to have said "we are z cars, the web address is 300zx.co.uk" ???

 

or maybe not.. who knows

These guys are the Z club aren't they? I started off with them but they're not Z32-specific enough. Friendly lot tho. Mike Feeney's on there a lot, answering practically everyone's questions! :bow:
