I'm going to try and wire up the electrics for the tow bar this afternoon, does anyone have any advise to give on doing this?

 

I have heard it said the just piggybacking connections is not the best thing to do when you have as many on board electrics/sensors as we do.

 

Any advise would be appreciated.

You should use a relay for the indicators. Other than that, some cars do odd things with a piggybacked brake light if there are bulb warning light - I just can't remember on the Z I'm afraid.

 

Halfords do a kit with the socket and the relay and wiring. Don't normally say this about Halfords but it's very good !

on mine i wired mine up just using scotch lock and works fine touch wood had it done nearly 2 years now
