This might be the wrong place to put this, but as I work in the Motor Trade I can get these cool silicone bladed car cleaning things , the things that let you remove water from the bodywork after washing, for £7 each , I got five of them in case any one here wanted to take advantage. Ill have them up at Santa Pod on the 10th so come and see me. :D . I may be able to get more of them if theres any intrest, BTW I will not be making profit on these which is why Ive posted here.

Isn't there a risk of scrtaching the paint if a little bit of grit remains ?

i've had one from halfords for about a year bloody great for that large bonnet, never got any scratches from mine

I also use a turtle wax one.

Saves about 10 - 15 wrings of the old shammy per wash :)

I think these blades are fantastic, been using an Auto Glym one for some months now.

Only the same risk as using a shammy really - possibly less as the blades tend to scoop the water up and flick it off, rather than drag it across the surface and soak it up.

Try it - you might like it! ;)

i find a profesional window squigy does a great job also as stuart says saves time with the old chamois ;)

:nono: Only 5 for 300+ members are you going to sell them all ??? :nono:

I sell them at my work. I can get as many as you want for £7 plus about 70p Postage. Good little items.
