Nobody had a spate of front upper links wearing out prematurely, I dont want to throw parts at the car like struts/springs but i might have to.

they are buggered

Please define:)

Do they rattle?

I fitted the NISMO ones summer before last and they are fine -I hope!

They are supposed to have a little bit of play - there is a Nissan bulletin about this.

Willie..the bushes move nearly 5mm from left to right and when basically driving...steering feels uncertain and not true, when hitting bumps i get a clunk. I have bought a 2nd hand link from JAP car breaker in Helen St Glasgow, took away most of the freeplay when it was fitted to the offside of the car but now I am back to where I was before i changed the offside link..unsure steering...checked last weekend....both links have play in them.

Have you got your shocks turned on full (hard as f**k) this will hammer your bushes

Dave the shocks are standards, nothing fancy and the car isnt lowered or anything like that......ride feels fine though.

could be shock absorbers that are shot or a ball joint worn
