just wanted to know how many of us, owns a petrol saver/daily run about car?

i also Got a Civic 1.6. VTI as my runabout/petrol saver.

The missus has got a corsa 1.7 diesel so we go in that if its more than a mile away !! I can sit back and have a smoke but there again i need to with her driving :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

Well the Z has become my daily driver since my Xantia munched it's head gasket a week or so ago. 130,000 miles and was going strong until that point. Fixing the gasket was easy until I discovered that one of the head bolts had already been sheared off by a previous mechanic, who also manged to put the wrong length bolt in one hole which has broken through the crank casing into one of the waterways. So right now it a very dead and sad looking paperweight. Need another engine, plus the inclination and enthusium to fit it ......

am i the only one with a sh!t runaround? a trusty 1995 1.2 clio with 111000 miles on the clock

havent driven once since got z lmao,

F reg pug 205xs with 126000 miles. Just put a rejetted carb on it.......even modding the pug now....help me! :p

F reg 1.4 Cavalier saloon in blue / rust - worst shed I have ever driven.

 

Daren't take it over 65 as it weaves around alarmingly and feels like it's going to roll. Had it 6 months, not washed it once and plough my shopping trolley into it with every opportunity but it won't dent :mad:

 

Soon to be replaced by a Laguna - can't come soon enough.
