Probably not worth repairing matey depending on the age of the car, if it's a later Z then fairy snuff! But G/H/J era, wouldn't bother with that amount of total wink.gif

However, would try and do what AndyZ has been doing...get it cheap as yer can and strip it for the parts to sell! Jobs a goodun biggrin.gif

Thats bad frown.gif Hate to see Zeds in that condition.......

Looking at the photos the car is probably a write off due to chassis twist - the impact has been on the end of the left chassis leg and quite hard by the looks of it.... The left hand side skirt has also cracked possibly suggesting (possibly not deffinitely) the chassis is creased around there....

Oh well....

do you really think there is enough demand for bits to make money from it. Bear in mind this car costs 1145 squid. I love the rear wing and side skirts. I dont see the side skirt broke from here. Apart from the front it looks a damn smart motor though.

Yep, defo in my opinion mate! wink.gif

1145 squid? Knock 'em down as far as you can, say about 750/800 depending on how far they'll go!

How many miles on the lump? Used engines are going for quite silly money now, silly in alot!!!!!! You'd make yer money back on the engine and gearbox alone, you could even split the turbos(if it is one) and make quite a tidy packet back that way.

Interior would go for quite a bit, them wheels are pukka provided the right front isn't damaged??? Yep, I reckon you could double yer money at least if you got it!

All IMHO anyway!

56k miles, and timmy c'mon you should know better than to ask if its a TT, one of the intercoolers is hanging out wink.gif

the wheels looks smart, 1 of them is a bit fudged but i dont think its beyond repair.

It has a boost guage, so I reckon the previous owner has been tweakin. got a big bucket seat on the drivers but cloth for all the others.

andyp it will prolly be about 1400 finished on the drive. Dont need to do anything else since its not going to be registered.

OK, the left skirt is deffinitely broken but would be quite easy to repair. The rims look like proper split rims so the left front could be quite easily repaired. Noticed it also has BlitZ BOVs on it so there is a chance of even more mods... wink.gif I was talking in terms of repair when I first replied to this thread but now its going down the breaking road... Could be worth the money but don't forget how long it will take to sell all the bits and get your money back wink.gif

Good luck to him! biggrin.gif

Wonder how much for the good headlight?

Jeff TT

honestly of the cramped workspace under the hood of the Z, possiblities of chassis twisting damage, new front, new hood, new fenders, new lights, blah blah I'm guessing $4500 in American dollars, I've just been in an accident less than a year ago that totaled $1500 in damages to a lincoln mark7, and my brother getting into an $2200 accident 3weeks ago....

that's a lot worse than the ones we had, plus the Z is a lot more cramped, and the aftermarket parts being more exspensive.
