Fuel tank fitting

New tank is on the way - have just booked it in to be done at a local garage(need the car for the weekend and don't have any spare time to try myself). It's going to cost a fortune to fit due to the time involved apparently - has anyone here replaced one before and if so how long does it take on average?

 

I'd assumed it was just a matter of unbolting the straps and filler neck, disconecting the pump and dropping it down, but they have 4 hours quoted on their system. :eek:

    Took me about 2 hours to do it and yes it is as simple as that to do. Its a pain getting the tank in the right place for the straps to go on.
