Hi guys

Is it possible to fit the original chip back into a car thats got an aftermarket chip installed?? If so, where can I get hold of one? I'm REALLY struggling to get insured with an aftermarket chip fitted. 22 yr old with 2 ncb, fooking difficult! Thanks

I'll have yer chip if you don't want it! ;)

Vulturous I know. lol.

If you're going to re-install an original chip, then go for as late a one as possible. Taking into account the changes over the years such as EGR etc.

So there'll be no problems even if the intake and exhaust systems have been altered? ie. running too lean or rich???

I believe your ok with stock chip as long as you keep boost under 12psi, as thats what the stock chip is mapped up to.
