It looks as if my heater matrix has blown up this morning. Got into the car and it was fine, went into town, got out and the bottom of my jeans were soaking wet! Huge puddles in the foot well both sides. Managed to get it home ok but i'm not quite fit enough yet to start pissing around with it myself.

Can i just kink the pipes going through the firewall so i can drive it to the garage? They look like they are branched off the water curcuit so it wouldn't restrict flow would it? Saves pi$$ing around with removing them and fitting a length of bypass hose...

If you can successfully stop the flow that will be ok as the circuit is not crucial to the engine and anyway is closed off when the heater is in cold position anyway.
