Safc

As I'm getting an SAFC soon, do I need an Adjustable FPR like this?http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=22670-RR710US

And to go with it I also see that this http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=22675-00001&Category_Code= is linked on courtesy website.

I was hoping to get Thor to set the controller up for me but want to be sure I have all the bits to make the most of it.

Injectors are standard, not ready to go up to 550cc just yet so want to maximise the potential from the standard ones and make sure I am not risking anything in terms of det.

i have an safc2 in mine which THOR set up for me. i only gained 10 bhp but the guys said the fuelling was very good beforehand anyway. i have got standard fuelling tho. someone else said they gained up to 60bhp!!! :)

you can gain a lot of power when the chip is running too rich, so gains will differ depending how good your current setup is.

Don't really need an AFPR unless you want to try and push more fuel in for more boost. You can then use the afc to correct the fueling across the entire rev range as the AFPR is not very subtle

I would like to squeeze a bit more boost out if the gains are worth it (from 15 to maybe 16 ish psi) which is why I though about an FPR. Have a JWT so there are no timing changes to my car, only an adjustment over the fuel map.

Really though I want the fuel set-up correctly and a decent session on the dyno.

SkylineDave - how long did you have on the Dynapack at Thor to set it up?

Thanks, - will probably get them to fit it for me as well so it will be a hefty bill but hopefully piece of mind and a noticable performance increase.

fitting is a doddle, takes about about 1-2 hours, all you have to do is splice in the right wires to the ECU

Was on for nearly an hour. The guys had spent a couple of hours beforehand fitting the AFC2 and an RSM.
