Hi Guys,

The other half had the tv on a shopping channel this morning, and it was advertising a product called Cataclean, for cleaning the cats obviously.

Anybody used it, heard of it or any opinions ??

Company cotact is http://www.shopamerica.co.uk

There claims are all backed by individual tests etc and they sing its praises.

Sky channel 637 I think.

Let me know your thoughts, as I have recently replaced the turbos, the cats would probably be manky !! ;)

Only just passed the mot on emmissions, mainly due to a sympathetic examiner. :D

Cheers.........

personally i woudent use any cleaners for my cats!!!

i havent got any cats but still if i did i would avoid like a rash ;)

I mentiond this product sometime back in a thread about fuel system cleaners.

I've never used it but I know of a Jap car tuning company called Calder Racing Developments, based in Scotland who do and claim it works.

May be worth giving them a call (sorry I don't have any contact details). I read a feature in a magazine on one of their cars - an MR2 turbo IIRC......

Richard ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I've bought some Cat cleaner and fuel system cleaner from a shopping channel before.

It was for my Cav SRi, and it didn't go well, after about two weeks, i had to replace the cats  (i think it was the sh1t that was holding them together!)

In my opinion i'd steer clear.

Steve
