Can anyone please recommend the best value-for-money:

a) remote start

and

b) turbo timer

and the best place to get them fitted? Estimated prices would be appreciated too.

Thanks,

Jim

Clifford Concept 600 with Intelli-start. Takes care of both + you get a Cat 1 alarm. Try Bob in the Traders section.

Best value for money turbo timer is common sense, meaning if you've been ragging it you let it tickover a minute or two before switching it off. If you havent then you dont need to. I think the zed has enough stuff to go wring without adding yet another pointless gizmo. Anyway save the cash for something it will need - and it will need something soon.

138k miles original turbos no turbo timer - if it aint broke dont fix it!

imho

Could not agree more ;)

sorry disagree, who wants to sit in the car like a lemon for 2 minutes

everytime you've been on a run, get home after 200 mile drive, dying for a piss, opps no have to wait until turbos cool, or get to motorway services and kids want to go, no roderick  you have to wait,

also some of the worst damage is done to engines and turbos, when first starting up, so every day BEFORE i go out at the press of a button i warm the car for a least a couple of minutes, yes technically they are illegal, but not in my drive or garage they're not, just my two pence worth and each to their own;)
