Sure she was on a documentary about the 70's or the 80's, something like that. Don't think that clown thing will have aged though. LOL :D

Carole Hersee, now a mother of two, has long wished her youthful image would vanish from British screens. The photo earned her a mere £100 and teasing from her schoolmates.

You forgot about Dixon of Dock Green. "Evening all. Now the story I'm about to tel you.......bla bla ..." and she must be more than 45 because I was well small when the test card changed and they put her picture in the middle for those new fangled Colour TV sets.

I used to fancy that bird when I was a kid, but now you've put me right off by puttin' Shrimpys face on her she'll never be the same again... :D  :D

OK who remembers this then????

That was my bedroom when I was a kid growing up in Yorkshire. From October onwards it was boody freezing and there was always a cloud of condensation from your breath. You lay there under 96 quilts and wait till your bladder weighed about 43 ton before you'd attempt the journey to the bathroom in Arctic conditions.

The frost would make fantastic patterns on the inside of the windows, which you could admire as you stood snapping off the frozen stream of pi55 every 20 seconds. Ee by ech them wert days Thank f**k for central heating. Though I do miss the paterns on the windows.

Eeh by ech we had to walk all t' way over to T'other side of Clundy to go un buy a loaf of Hovis int middle o' winter wi' no shoes on us feet....
