anyone else playing this currently? it probably the best arcade racer ever, (apart from burnout 1;))

i dont really take to arcade-style racing games much, i go for rally games, and am weeing myself waiting for gt4! :hyper:

mind you burnout 3 looks good!

Burnout 1 still has a raw feel about it, you had to squint to see into the distance as well lol. Burnout 3 has taken ps2 gaming to the edge now, I was seriously amazed it looked as good as it does.

Played it at HIN. Pretty impressed with the graphics, actually, for a PS2 game.

Got burnout 1 & 2, so I guess I should really get 3.

I'll treat myself to it for Christmas and play it all over the christmas holiday.

Ok so its now 2.15 am and I am in work at 8 o'clock. Rented Burnout 3 from Blockbuster several hours ago and have still not raced a car.

Started off in Crash Test and never got any further, too much enjoyment to be had creating havoc at the junction. Will try the rest of the game after work tomorrow if I don't become ill before morning and have to take the day off :hyper:

played it last night, total madness, and got the nismo R34

Bought burnout 3 yesterday for XBOX, played until about 3 am, played about 4 hours more today. :hyper:

 

Great game, similar to Need for speed underground.

 

Only thing is, the index finger on my right hand has gone numb!!

stayed up almost all night th first day i got it lol but then it was sunday the next day

gold medals in all the crash events but how difficult are the races compared to other games!!! traffic everywher!!!

and you have to boost all the way through the special events without crashing to get a gold!
