How do they work? Surely the ECU tells the car what fuel to put in at what revs and load or am I missing something? ;)

My chip isnt mapped to the car specifically no. Is that the benefit to adding an AFR/AFC - so that it fine tunes the ECU fuelling values? :)

Thats one benefit yeah, trouble is it also changes the load sites for the timing so can cause all sorts of weird things to happen...

I gained about 10bhp at the fly when THOR fitted and tuned mine. Not much I know but they said the fuelling was very good anyway. Looks pretty too... ;)

I gained 60bhp and 100lbft torque with the SAFC 2, :hyper: impressed,sorted out lean top with that JWT chip :(
