Just in case any one interested conversion cost ??? Ahh let me see any one want theirs doing?? Jeff TT

If they actually improve the headlamps then that sounds like a fantastico idea...

I'd be up for that while my car is off the road.. If I can afford it, that is!

Hi John see your not that far from me (Tamworth) also your a chef, same as my son he lives in Milton Keynes (living in)

The headlight thing is something I cooked up myself after seeing later design lights on the US sites.Basically its a dismantle job and removal of the dull plastic sheilding for chrome filming, total degreese and clean of light unit, greese adjustment cogs new bulbs and there u r.Actually might concider supply them on an exchange basis if enough interest, not sure on cost yet as hav`nt fully evaluated them at night, will repost tommorrow. Won't the projector beam still be crap though? Unless you drive on full beam all the time?

JEZ

They look alot better thats one thing. Id be keen if it wernt to expensive wink.gif or let us know how to do it.

Projecter beam has had an internal reflector modification also( so lets hope) also a with all these light units I have split open the projector beam glass is filthy.Bet if u check ur own they look milky if viewed close up, what u should see is the bulb magnified!

Will let u all know what the night performance is like, oh and the cost once the headlight removed and split open less than £10, at least they look nicer though. Jeff TT

Damn thats cheap Jeff, worth doing just for looks at that price.. Or even two or three times that biggrin.gif

If you were doing them on exchange, I'd be willing to bet you'd get a lot more takers (after all, it's a touch hard to drive without headlights biggrin.gif)

Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce... (sorry no sound!) LOL

Very nice Jeff - didn't think you could find a company that does this type of coating ... BTW - this would be a great time to exchange the duff J-spec clusters for UK-specs (no more converting of bulbs)! I'd love to drop by sometime this week to have a closer inspection - let me know when it suits you ...

Cheers,

Danny

PS - car is at Polesworth today getting the chin spoiler resprayed .... on them!!!

Hi Danny, Matt and all

Good to see Nissan did the right thing by u at last Danny putting right the damage they done to your car whilst in their care good on you. When u picking it up? call in if you can.Light units are actually about to go back in just doing bulb conversion and then testy, testy.

Ps have found a further relay / loom upgrade that was available in Japan and have aquired one to fit later this week>

Oh forgot the film is available in gold and bronze, and solid colours too (colour coding)

Jeff TT

Hey Jeff,

Yeah, it's about time Nelson put right what they did wrong ... took some hard-handed persuasion though!

I'm picking my baby up around 1730 today and will give you a call when I'm done - might drop by if it is convenient for you.

Speak to you later mate!
